Tammy always loves a good workout. During her time in Nursing School then traveling the country as a Traveling Registered Nurse, Tammy always found a way to get in a workout. Swimming, running the beach, hiking, and biking are amoung her favorites. Tammy has taught classes at the Cameron Wellness Center in Washington Pa which included Tabata, Power Hour Bootcamp, BodyPump (Certified) and Fit and Flex. Also, she has a class at the Peterstownship Recreation Center teaching a Mommy and Me Bootcamp. Offered to teach at Club Cycle in July, then given the oppurtunity to become Owner ( now known as PULSE ), Tammy is excited to share her compasssion for mind, body, life balance. Keeping people excited about their health and workouts in an enviroment of fun, happy, lovable people is key. Tammy is married to an amazingly gorgeous man Chris, has three little boys, Jackson 9 , Colton 7, Deklan 4, and a furry baby golden Cooper 2.

Stephanie Miller - OWNER
Stephanie loves motivating clients to take their workouts to the next level. A good challenge is always fun! After losing over 100 pounds herself, she started her own local boot camp. This successful boot camp ran strong for 7 years. It came to an end recently when the opportunity to own/instruct at PULSE came about. Boot camp style workouts, spinning, and running are her favorite ways to keep fit and strong! After running two full marathons, she is ready to share her "mind over matter" mentality with all of you. She has the support of her husband and 2 daughters to make this happen. When not at PULSE, you can find her in the classroom teaching at Memorial Elementary School in Bethel Park. She loves being outdoors and in the sun with her family and friends. Anything is possible when you work hard!
"Train Insane or Remain the Same"
Tiffany spent the majority of her life as a dancer, and continued this throughout her years in college with a focus in ballet at Point Park University. She later graduated with a Bachelor’s in business. After entering the work force and spending less time in dance, she found herself dissatisfied with her physical fitness and began running, taking periodic dance classes, and working to improve her core strength using Pilates -something she was introduced to during her ballet classes at Point Park. After running several marathons, she realized she was drawn to help others maintain their physical fitness. In addition to her love of the run, Tiffany has always loved Pilates, so she pursued certification in Pilates through Zenlates so that she could spend her time doing what she loves and helping others achieve their fitness goals.
Tiffany lives in Upper St. Clair with her amazing husband, Kris, and their 4 children, Braden, Cade, Drake and Emma.
Growing up I was always active, I found my love for cycling in 2012 when I was training for my second full marathon. I was having some major joint issues. Cycling gave me the cardio workout I needed while giving my knees and hips a break! I received my BS in Marketing from California University of PA and my MBA from Carlow University. I currently work as a Community Development Compliance Officer for Dollar Bank. When not cycling at Pulse, you can find me playing rugby for the Pittsburgh Highlanders Rugby Football Club. Go Highlanders!
Her love for health and fitness started over 15 years ago when she struggled with her own weight and fitness issues. Her ultimate goal is to help people feel healthy and good about themselves. Although she has a degree in business, after being a stay at home mom for many years, she wanted to get back into the work force. An office environment was not where she wanted to be. Was there a job out there where she could help others become stronger versions of themselves and share her passion for a healthy lifestyle? Thanks to Pulse she was able to make this happen. When she's not at the studio you can find her at an Ice Rink with her husband, and two boys that enjoy playing Ice Hockey. Her family also enjoy running & walking with their beloved dog Phoenix, skating, biking, hiking, traveling, cooking and watching movies together. Her Motto "Remember your worth it!"
“You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think,” A.A. Milne – this has become my mantra that helps to push me every day. From a young age I was the dirtiest girl on the softball field in numerous positions, then as I got older, perfecting my skills as a fast-pitch catcher. But after 12 years that journey culminated with a spot on the Muskingum University softball team, under the direction of the late Coach Donna Newberry, the most winning-est coach in Division III history. She taught me everything I needed to know and more about circuit training, endurance, cardio, and the how to absolutely never give up. In 2012 I completed my first half marathon and that’s when my personal fitness journey began. Since then, I’ve coached alongside my dad for the Pittsburgh Power travel softball team, the Peters Township High Schoolsoftball team, became an INSANITY LIVE Instructor, successfully achieved an Emerald status as a Beachbody coach, completed 1 full marathon and 9 half marathons along withfinishing numerous 5k and 10k races, placing first in my age bracket for 3 of them, as well as finishing a mini-triathlon. Today my journey continues by motivating and training friends and family whether it’s with running, weight lifting, cardio circuits, or simply through at home workouts. I am determined to help others unleash their full potential by believing and motivating them. Currently I am studying to for my ACE Small Group Certification while also participating in 2 co-ed softball teams and working as a Group Sales Manager for the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh Airport.
Dana has always enjoyed a lifestyle of health and fitness. With spinning she gets to help others enjoy it as well.
In high school and college Dana played softball as well as participated in other extracurricular activities. She has a Bachelors Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a Minor in Gerontology and a Masters in Education from Duquesne University. After college, Dana enjoyed teaching hi/low impact floor aerobics at the YMCA in downtown Pittsburgh until she had her first child. After her first child she had to have back surgery to correct a herniated disc. This encouraged her to get back out there physically, slowly working on her core and then building her back strength up from there. Today she enjoys all life has to offer including running half marathons and spinning.
Dana loves spending time outdoors with her family - walking, running, hiking, biking, roller blading, snow tubing-- basically doing anything that keeps her family moving. Dana's family also likes to watch movies and bake together. After stepping out of the workforce to raise 3 children, she's ready to get back out there and push limits both physically and mentally.
Emily is a fitness enthusiast and has always enjoyed a good beat. As a mother of two, and currently expecting her third, spinning has become an amazing outlet for her mind, body and soul! Emily has been spinning for just about two years. It started with enjoying some great tunes and burning off some steam and has transformed into a spin obsession.
Steph has been teaching spin since 2011. She got her start at Pitt, where she earned her BS in Exercise Science and her MS in Health & Physical Activity. While working on her degrees, she was hired by her department to instruct fitness classes for the faculty, staff, and students of the university; however, spin was (and still is) her favorite class to teach. She loves that you can get your butt kicked for an hour and enjoy every minute of it- all you need is some good music and energetic people around you. She also attributes her success in marathon running to mixing in cardio on the bike with running! While her love for health and fitness remains strong, Steph ended up going back to school for her teaching degree in 2015 and is currently an elementary school teacher in the Bethel Park School District.
My fitness journey started 8 years ago when my best friend asked me to join her in doing a 5k and I was hooked after! I enjoy doing half marathons, HITT workouts, and of course spinning. Fitness allows you to take control of your body and push it to do things you never thought possible. One of my favorite parts about teaching fitness classes is showing people that they are capable of anything they put their mind to with enough dedication and hard work. Fitness is an ongoing journey and hope you will join me!
I believe fitness should be fun and there is something out there for everyone. The options are endless! My role is to motivate, enable and make training a fun and rewarding experience. As a full-time working, mother of two daughters that are involved in many activities, I understand how difficult it can be to fit in your own health and fitness. My motto is "no excuses"! I always push myself to be better and do better. I have found a love for obstacle course racing and have completed 6 Spartan races including the last Sprint of 2017 going out of my comfort zone and competing in a competitive heat. I placed 1st in my age group and 2nd of all women running that heat. Anything can be done and it's never too late to start!
