Tammy is excited to share her compasssion for mind, body, life balance. Keeping people excited about their health and workouts in an enviroment that is fun, motivating, safe, and welcoming is key.
Tammy is a AFAA/NASM Lifetime Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer, and Schwinn Spinning Certified Instructor. Tammy is a Registered Nurse with an active PA RN license, and currently studing to be a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach. She maintains all continuing education in all fields to help educate herself, PULSE staff and clients.
Stephanie Miller - OWNER
Stephanie loves motivating clients to take their workouts to the next level. A good challenge is always fun! After losing over 100 pounds herself, she started her own local boot camp. This successful boot camp ran strong for 7 years. It came to an end in 2017, when the opportunity to own/instruct at PULSE came about. Boot camp style workouts, spinning, hot yoga, and running are her favorite ways to keep fit and strong! After running two full marathons, she is ready to share her "mind over matter" mentality with all of you. She has the support of her husband and 2 daughters to make this happen. When not at PULSE, you can find her in the classroom teaching at Memorial Elementary School in Bethel Park. She loves being outdoors and in the sun with her family and friends. Anything is possible when you work hard!
"Train Insane or Remain the Same"
Her love for health and fitness started over 15 years ago when she struggled with her own weight and fitness issues. Her ultimate goal is to help people feel healthy and good about themselves. Although she has a degree in business, after being a stay at home mom for many years, she wanted to get back into the work force. An office environment was not where she wanted to be. Was there a job out there where she could help others become stronger versions of themselves and share her passion for a healthy lifestyle? Thanks to Pulse she was able to make this happen by teaching yoga and pilates reformer classes. When she's not at the studio you can find her at an Ice Rink with her husband, and two boys that enjoy playing Ice Hockey. Her family also enjoy running & walking with their beloved dog Phoenix, skating, biking, hiking, traveling, cooking and watching movies together. Her Motto "Remember your worth it!"
Cathy's fitness journey and loyal work ethic is a way of life. Her first spin class was in college. She has been spinning ever since. If Cathy is not greeting you with a smile or on the bike at Pulse, then she is at home cooking for her boys or she is at the beach. Cathy is a certified spin instructor.
“Good vibes only”
Brooke started cycling in a local gym in college and was immediately hooked. It gave her the cardio workout she needed while giving her body a break from pounding the pavement. She has ran four full marathons and several half marathons, 10ks and 5ks. When not in the studio or running she is working full time as the Community Reinvestment Act Officer for Washington Financial Bank or volunteering in the community. She serves on the Young Professional Board for Junior Achievement, Secretary for Highland Ridge Community Development Corporation, member of the FAB Sale Committee for Dress For Success- Washington County and a coach for Girls on the Run.

Life is all about taking chances and pushing yourself further than you think you can go. I always test my limits, that’s why I love HIIT workouts. From a young age I was the dirtiest girl on the softball field in numerous positions, then as I got older, perfecting my skills as a fast-pitch catcher. Softball taught me so many of exercises through circuit training, endurance, cardio, and how to absolutely never give up.

Currently I am an ACE Group Fitness Instructor teaching Bootcamp, Tabata, and Kettlebell classes at PULSE. I keep my classes guessing by changing the workouts each time, mixing between weights, cardio, abs, circuit stations, and more! Come try a class and mix up your routine with me!
Steph has been teaching spin since 2011. She got her start at Pitt, where she earned her BS in Exercise Science and her MS in Health & Physical Activity. While working on her degrees, she was hired by her department to instruct fitness classes for the faculty, staff, and students of the university; however, spin was (and still is) her favorite class to teach. She loves that you can get your butt kicked for an hour and enjoy every minute of it- all you need is some good music and energetic people around you. She also attributes her success in marathon running to mixing in cardio on the bike with running! While her love for health and fitness remains strong, Steph ended up going back to school for her teaching degree in 2015 and is currently an elementary school teacher.
My fitness journey started 8 years ago when my best friend asked me to join her in doing a 5k and I was hooked after! I enjoy doing half marathons, HITT workouts, and of course spinning. Fitness allows you to take control of your body and push it to do things you never thought possible. One of my favorite parts about teaching fitness classes is showing people that they are capable of anything they put their mind to with enough dedication and hard work. Fitness is an ongoing journey and hope you will join me!
I believe fitness should be fun and there is something out there for everyone. The options are endless! My role is to motivate, enable and make training a fun and rewarding experience. As a full-time working, mother of two daughters that are involved in many activities, I understand how difficult it can be to fit in your own health and fitness. My motto is "no excuses"! I always push myself to be better and do better. I have found a love for obstacle course racing and have completed 6 Spartan races including the last Sprint of 2017 going out of my comfort zone and competing in a competitive heat. I placed 1st in my age group and 2nd of all women running that heat. Anything can be done and it's never too late to start!

Danielle McKain has been teaching spin for corporate fitness works for the last 2 1/2 years, but her passion and involvement with fitness has been a lifetime. She teaches for the corporate gyms at Crown Castle and Dicks Sporting Goods. She has 2 boys, Colin and Jameson. Her family resides in Southpointe. On top of teaching spin classes, her true passion is overseeing her foundation Jameson's Army and helping kids at Children's' Hospital with heart issues.... We welcome her to feel the beat at PULSE!
Sally Putt took her first Pilates class in June 2009 at
The Pilates Body in McMurray . She was curious to
find out what this exercise was all about as she had
always been active and enjoyed exercising, but the
pounding of aerobics and running over the years took
a toll on her knees and lower back. Pilates made her
feel strong and energized.
Sally has an engineering background and the
attention to details and precision in Pilates
immediately resonated with her as a student and
Sally started her teacher training to help others to
achieve the great changes that Pilates can do to your
body as well as your mind. Her Power Pilates
certification in Beginner and Intermediate Mat has
allowed her to teach Pilates since 2013. In 2016, she
completed her Systems Level I apparatus
She is currently enrolled in Comprehensive apparatus
training to allow her clients to experience more fully
everything the practice can offer.
